Dapple Dachshund Magnet: Spotted Coat, Spotless Record of Chaos

People see a dapple dachshund and think "how unique, how elegant." Dapple owners see a dapple dachshund and think "what did he eat this time."

Market customers kept telling us they could never find their dapple, so here are four smooth dapple dachshunds, each with a collar charm that tells the truth:

Not Today: black and silver dapple with a white chest and blue collar on a light aqua background. I'm the Drama: silver and tan dapple with a side-eye, on sky blue. Tiny Villain: the same silver and tan dapple, now on bright green, plotting. A Little Bit Psycho: a happy tri-color dapple with a white chest, on lavender with white daisies, because chaos can still be cute.

All four are original Sly Dawg Studio designs printed on high-gloss aluminum.

Who needs a dapple dachshund magnet?

Dapple dachshund owners (finally), merle and dapple doxie fans, and anyone whose dog is gorgeous and slightly unhinged. Grab one for your fridge and one for the friend who has a dapple and won't stop talking about it.

Where it goes: refrigerators, filing cabinets, lockers, toolboxes, whiteboards, and any metal surface that's been looking a little under-supervised.

Questions people ask at our market booth

What size is it?
2.5" x 2.5" square. Big enough to see from the couch, small enough to fit between the takeout menus.

How strong is the magnet?
Very. The back is a ceramic magnet, not one of those flimsy flat sheets that slide down the fridge when you close the door. It holds a stack of papers like it's being paid to. Keep fingers clear when two of them find each other.

What's it made of?
A high-gloss aluminum face (no flimsy plastic, no paper print) with rounded corners, backed by a strong ceramic magnet. The colors stay bright and the surface wipes clean.

Which dapple is which?
Not Today is black and silver dapple on light aqua. I'm the Drama (sky blue) and Tiny Villain (bright green) are the same silver and tan dapple. A Little Bit Psycho is a tri-color dapple on lavender with daisies.

Is this a good gift?
It's one of the most popular things at our booth: small enough for a stocking, a coworker's desk or a birthday card, and every dachshund person immediately says "that's literally my dog." Most people grab three.

Do you have long haired dapple dachshunds?
Yes. See our long haired dapple dachshund magnet.
